Less of a mindgame, more of a mindfuck.

I don't want to get into it. :\

Basically, after one day of partially interrupted service, we lost our connection- again. It's back now, but still no one has told me WHY it was gone in the first place. And knowing our ISP, it'll probably go again any minute now. Seriously.

For those of you who are not aware, my home network is being denied access to the DNS server with Brighthouse -

a.k.a

-I have no internet (at home).

At least, not until Tuesday afternoon, which is the earliest they can make it. Not that I'm too thrilled with them anyway. They installed our router in the laundry room, in the basement, when they first came out to set it up. The only problem with that is that we couldn't get a good enough signal upstairs, which is where most of the computers were. We had to move it. That, and the "tech" couldn't answer any of our technical questions either; which leaves me to wonder whether he's actually a networking tech or can just drill holes in the walls and pull wires through them.

I'm pretty sure I could do that...

In any case, it's still annoying having to wait so long just to get the internet back. At the moment, I'm using the local library's Wi-Fi connection and yesterday I used Panera Bread's connection. However, as you may have guessed, both of these connections are not secure connections and I don't feel too comfortable doing very much on them. That, and my IRC client dislikes it when I used an insecure connection. AIM doesn't care though, so maybe I'll get a chance to chat with some people in the meantime.

Of course, the places I hang out to get Wi-Fi close before 10pm, so no one is actually online. But, such is life, right?

Yeah, so my mom's friend from Texas (who I stayed with when I went there in the Summer) is staying here for a few more days and it's fun. It's great, because mom just got herself a new (used) laptop and Bunnie works for Apple, so she's got her MacBook and I'm sitting here at the table too with my crap-book and, yeah - We're all online at the same time. Fun times. :D

DUDE, I have to send it in tomorrow...and I don't wanna! *whines*

Aaaaa~anyway, I told myself I'd work on my comic today- maybe I should do that soon...Hmph.

I'm tired...and I got over 10 hours of sleep last night. Bummer.

Hee-hee. I have the internet again. In fact, my whole house now has wireless. Happiness insued. True happiness is the intarwebz. :D

My dad was talking to the -not Comcast , I think it's actually roadrunner out here- cable dude and he set up the WiFi and the TV. Then he left and dad said "Now, where is the instruction manual?"...And I was like...

"There is no manual...THIS IS THE INTARWEBS! It requires no MANUAL!"

Boo-yah. Let the g33k be heard. >:3
